How we planned it
To start off with we made storyboards. These storyboards consisted of what was going to be
included in our video and how long each shot was going to be.
Whilst filming, we stuck to our storyboard. Which I think made the filming and editing process a lot easier for the group. We decided to focus on lighting, and making the content of the video very simple. We achieved this by using a black blind behind our 'actors' and using a desk lamp to light up their faces. This is shown below.
We filmed our Prelim with a Canon 550D using a tripod.
Overall, I was pleased with my prelim. However, the synching is a bit off in places. I would improve this for our actual promo. I would also use a wider range of shots. For example, a low angle shot and tracking shots.
