Pitch Feedback analysis

We presented our pitch with 3 different ideas to our media class. The feedback we got from them is that;

• Idea 1 and 3 were the favourites
• Idea 2 was disliked and people found it funny
• A range of different editing could be used in idea 3.

 Due to idea 1 and 3 being favoured we analysed why this was.

 

Idea 1

People believed that this idea suited the song perfectly as the music sounds as though it is from the 60s (sounded a lot like 'The Beatles'). However, it would take a lot of work and actors for it to be accomplished and may not look as good as idea 3 may look.

Idea 3

This idea could use a lot of editing techniques and would be easier (and cheaper) to film, due to the small amount of costumes and settings needed for it to be successful. There is also more marks available for the techniques that we wish to use rather than spending our time looking at costumes.


People suggested that maybe the 2 ideas could be mixed together. For example having the main idea 3 but getting a 60s vibe to it. However, we decided as a group that that wouldn't work or look right.
